The holiday season is upon us, and alongside all the good cheer and celebrations, we’d also like to remember one of the most important parts of holiday tradition: being kind, generous and giving to others. Our practice would like to bring out the spirit of giving in our community, by hosting a holiday drive to support some of the most vulnerable people in our community. We’ll be collecting donations for ACT — Abuse Counselling and Treatment, Inc. — an organization which provides shelter and assistance to women and children who are survivors of violence.
We’re particularly passionate about this important cause which will assist many local residents. We would like to invite you help our practice bring holiday cheer to dozens of women and their children in Lee County who will be staying in ACT’s emergency safe shelter over the holidays. We’d like to make them feel as cared about as any of our own family while they’re seeking shelter due to domestic violence, sexual assault or human trafficking.
So consider this a call to action! As one of our valued patients, we’d love you to join Dr. Flaharty and all the staff of Azul by contributing to our holiday drive. Don’t forget to mention to family and friends that they can help out, too, by donating themselves or by dropping things off to us at Azul.
Just drop off any gifts or items you’d like to donate to our Fort Myers or Bonita Springs offices.
