What is a HydraFacial?
The HydraFacial MD is a combination of deep cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration, and anti-oxidant delivery simultaneously in a patented four-step process using one fantastic instrument. It feels as if your skin has been kissed with moisture! The specialized handheld wand moves over the skin quickly, comfortably, and efficiently. It is a pleasant spa-like experience completed in a half hour and includes the following:
Vortex Exfoliation
Skin cells are in a continual state of regeneration. Old skin cells die and get replaced by healthy new cells. The issue is that these dead cells often take a long time to shed spontaneously. Exfoliation helps the process along so the skin appears bright and smooth. Using the deplaning tool, our esthetician sweeps deal skin cells away, which helps to open the pores and prepare the skin for maximum hydration.
Chemical Peel
Many people are not sure what a chemical peel really is and we are here to uncover the mystery! We use a very gentle grade of peel and the strength is largely dependent on your skin goals and skin type. The mixture of salicylic and glycolic acids penetrate the pores and loosens deep-seated debris without any of the irritated, red skin afterwards.
Vortex Extraction
The next step is the extraction. Unlike a standard extraction that usually occurs during a facial, our extraction process is simple and comfortable. To remove debris from pores, the esthetician moves the handheld wand over the face. This tiny vacuum extracts gunk out of clogged pores that was loosened with the chemical peel.
Serum Application
The final step of the HydraFacial ties the whole process together. Once the pores have been cleared, they are in the perfect state to receive a nourishing serum that is carefully selected based on each patient’s needs.
