So Many Reasons to Love Sculptra at Azul

When we think of the most visible sign of aging, we usually think of wrinkles. Wrinkles can be the bane of our existence, with lines around the eyes, forehead, and mouth making us look years older than we feel. No Recovery Time
When you come in for cosmetic surgery or other procedures, you need to be aware that there is usually an associated recovery time. This can range anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. Our Master Injectors are so precise in their delivery that the extent of your recovery could only be some very minor bruising. You can typically walk out of Azul and resume your normal activities immediately after treatment.

We know there are a lot of people out there who are afraid of needles. For the most part, it’s more of a fear of pain. Thankfully, Sculptra is relatively pain-free. We use an anesthetic cream on your face before we inject anything, so you may feel nothing at all – or at most a small pinch.
Allergy-Safe
As we get older, we often develop allergies that we didn’t have when we were younger. It’s really annoying to suddenly discover that you have a mild shellfish allergy, or that the cats and dogs you’ve loved all your life now make your eyes water. Some people who come into Azul with multiple allergies worry that they might have some reaction to the dermal fillers. Thankfully, as Sculptra is biocompatible, no allergy testing is required before treatment.
Biodegradable
Some people feel weird about something artificial and fake being put under their skin. With Sculptra in particular, you don’t have to worry about that. Sculptra is made from poly-L-lactic acid, which is a biodegradable substance that is easily reabsorbed by the body. This does mean that touch-up treatments are required, but you can have them without any concern that the fillers will be forever under your skin.

Sculptra doesn’t just fill out the hollows of the face; it also can have quite an effect on the skin above. We not only lose tissue and fat under the skin as we age, but we also lose collagen.
