What Can I Expect During a HALO® Fractional Laser Treatment?
During a HALO® treatment, you will be reclined in a comfortable position and your skin will be cleansed. A numbing cream may be applied to help keep you comfortable during the treatment. The HALO® device will then be passed over your skin, delivering the laser energy. You may feel a warming sensation while the laser works to heat up the deeper layers of the skin. The treatment only takes approximately 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the size and condition of the area being treated. Afterward, your skin may appear pink and swollen, but this usually subsides within a few hours. It is vital that you avoid extra sun exposure and wear sunscreen following treatment, as your skin will be more sensitive. One of the best things about a HALO® laser treatment is that your results will last for years! Although your skin will continue to change as you age, you’ll be able to see the continued improvements from HALO® for years to come.
