If you’re thinking about getting an aesthetic procedure done but the thought of any minor discomfort frightens you, you’re not alone. Some of our patients have felt the same way but we were able to put their mind and nerves at ease by offering ProNox. ProNox is the grown-up version of laughing gas! We love being able to offer our patients the option of ProNox because it allows you, the patient, to effectively control how much or how little pain relief you need during your treatment. Best of all ProNox is eliminated from your body within minutes leaving you completely sharp, aware and ready to drive yourself home.
ProNox minimizes any anxiety patients may experience and Azul offers it at no additional cost with some of our most popular procedures:
INFINI is a radiofrequency microneedling treatment used for tightening and rejuvenating the skin. During this procedure, tiny needles puncture the top layer of your skin to inflict small, intentional injuries to the deeper layers below. Once your body’s healing processes jumps into action to start healing these “injuries,” new collagen and elastin is produced. Some skin is more sensitive than others, and many patients like to pair this treatment with ProNox to help them relax and keep their mind off of any minor discomfort they may feel. With ProNox, you can sit back and relax while we give you an amazing skin rejuvenating treatment!
Ultherapy is a non-invasive procedure for skin tightening to lift the eyebrow, neck, jawline and décolletage areas. Ultherapy uses ultrasound, not laser, to deliver focused energy beneath the skin to the deeper suspensory layers of the face and neck. This triggers your body’s natural healing response, resulting in new collagen production and subsequent tightening and lifting of your face, neck and décolletage. Ultherapy allows us to deliver ultrasound into targeted layers of your face and neck to achieve gravity-defying results. An effective, and truly remarkable result, can sometimes create heat discomfort during the treatment in the area receiving ultrasound waves. We have found ProNox to be a game-changer for our patients! So much so, that Ultherapy (a MERZ company) has partnered with ProNox nationally.
Halo is the top pick in laser treatments because it addresses so many patient concerns, including evening out skin tone and texture or reducing fine lines and wrinkles. Halo delivers both non-ablative and ablative wavelengths to the same microscopic treatment zone. Pairing these two wavelengths creates a synergistic effect that gives you ablative results with non-ablative downtime. (Translation: skin resurfacing results, without resurfacing!) Ablative lasers are often used to remove the outer layer of skin to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. While non-ablative lasers treat the deeper layers of the skin to stimulating collagen and elastin production, reducing deeper lines and creases. Halo is very much like the Dynamic Duo in that it does both at the same time! Although topical numbing cream is applied prior to the procedure, the warmth of the laser has some of our patients choosing to pair this treatment with a little bit of laughing gas to help ease their mind to focus on the rejuvenating results.
InstaLift is an effective, minimally invasive solution for face and neck lifting and tightening. You can envision InstaLift as absorbable suture threads with tiny bi-directional cones. When placed under the skin, the sutures lift and reposition the tissue and the cones hold the tissue in the newly lifted position. Because this procedure instantly lifts your skin, some of our patients like to pair this treatment with ProNox to reduce any feeling they have during the procedure while Britten Stine ARNP gently lifts their skin for a naturally refreshed look. Britten Stine is one of the most experienced and top providers of InstaLift in the US – right here in southwest Florida!
Exilis is a popular treatment in non-invasive technology for skin smoothing, wrinkle reduction and light body contouring. During the treatment, energy is delivered into your skin’s deepest layers, which can cause discomfort in sensitive areas. Some of our patients like to pair this procedure with ProNox as a preemptive approach to maximizing their comfort.
