Happy 20th Birthday, Azul Cosmetic Surgery!

Azul Cosmetic Surgery & Medical Spa is celebrating 20 years in business, and it wouldn’t have been possible without you. Our team of plastic surgeons, master injectors, medical estheticians and cosmetic professionals is honored to serve the men and women of Southwest Florida and look forward to 20 more years of providing the safest and most effective treatments for our patients.
Twenty years ago, Dr. Flaharty had the vision for Azul Cosmetic Surgery and Medical Spa. He had completed a fellowship in cosmetic surgery and was passionate about making facial cosmetic procedures his professional focus. So in September of 2002, he hired a front desk associate and a nurse, and set up shop. Those first two employees, April B. and Kristy are still with us today! April is part of the Front Desk staff and Kristy is still Dr. Flaharty’s clinic nurse.
Originally focusing on cosmetic surgery, Azul has grown to encompass many medical spa procedures that were not originally offered. These include all the latest innovations in cosmetic science that have been developed since Azul was born: lasers, radiofrequency treatments, microneedling, Coolsculpting, Ultherapy to name just a few. In addition, Dr. Flaharty developed the Azul product line to go hand in hand with these procedures in order to improve and maintain results. In short, the growth that we’ve experienced at Azul has been beyond our wildest dreams! We pinch ourselves every day, remembering that the practice has been built one patient at a time, always treating everyone like we would want to be treated. Our motto is “Look and feel your best”. We believe that each person has their own reasons an desires for pursuing cosmetic procedures and we are here to help patients achieve their goal, whether it is surgery, fillers or medspa services. We want you to look on the outside like you feel on the inside!
Our Services
Today we offer a comprehensive range of facial plastic surgery options. Some of the most popular are:
- Facelift and Neck Lift
- Blepharoplasty (eyelid lift)
- Forehead Lift
These services can be used alone or in combination with each other. They can also be combined with options, including fat grafting, laser skin resurfacing or FaceTite®, for complete facial profile optimization.
If a surgical solution isn’t the right fit for you, a liquid facelift with injectables such as BOTOX® Cosmetic or Sculptra® Aesthetic, or skin tightening with Ultherapy® may be a better solution. We can discuss these options in greater detail during a consultation.
Non-surgical treatments address skin concerns such as wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, sun and age spots, and acne scars. Some of our most popular med spa services include:

- Laser Hair Removal
Similar to surgical options, these can be used alone or in specific combinations to meet your exact needs.
In addition to facial services, we offer CoolSculpting® for non-surgical body contouring, Morpheus8 for skin laxity, QWO® for cellulite removal, sclerotherapy for spider and varicose veins, and focal in office body liposuction. These services are used to improve the appearance of serval areas of the body. What’s more, they can be used in more than one area during a single treatment.
