You can’t control the weather, so it may rain. Your perfect location might be booked up solid for a year, so you might have the book elsewhere. One of the most popular and effective treatments we offer is the HydraFacial MD. This facial, very popular with Hollywood celebrities, gives you a four-in-one treatment to help ensure that you have absolutely flawless skin on the big day.
Facials have some a long way. Today, cutting-edge aesthetic technology can give you results from your facials that would have been impossible just twenty years ago. As far as advanced facials go, the HydraFacial MD is queen!
The HydraFacial MD is actually made up of four different parts, each one contributing to a stunning complexion. All of these steps are incredibly customizable, so (for example) if you have super-sensitive skin, or you have specific skincare goals, we adapt the HydraFacial MD to your unique skin with no problem at all, to give it exactly what it needs to let your own natural beauty radiate through!
Cleaning and Exfoliation
This is sort of the “ground floor” as far as the HydraFacial MD. Before we can start to extract any impurities, or infuse your skin with serums, we make sure we are working with a clean canvas. We use a specialized spiral tool to gently buff away dead skin cells and other debris from your face. If you have very sensitive skin, we simply reduce the intensity of the spiral tool. This very gentle exfoliation is the starting point, and will improve the results from the other steps of the HydraFacial.
Acid Peel
Now that we’ve gotten rid of the upper-level cellular debris, it’s time to go a little deeper. Although the words “acid peel” may have long been about as delightful as the words “root canal”, you may change your mind after your visit to Azul. Any discomfort or burning sensation have become a thing of the past. The glycolic acid peel that we do as a part of the HydraFacial is incredibly gentle. You may feel a slight tingle, but that’s about it! Of course, if you want a deeper acid peel, we can simply amp up the intensity for you.
Extractions
Of course you want to avoid having any blackheads and acne on your big day, so removing skin impurities is a must. Our next step in the HydraFacial is to use a special vortex vacuum tool to painlessly unclog your pores without causing any physical skin damage. This vortex tool is an extremely gentle method of getting rid of impurities from the skin, leaving your face cleaner and healthier than it may ever have been before!
Hydration
Well, it IS called the HydraFacial!
In the final step, we now use the vortex tool to gently infuse your skin with the highest quality hydrating serum of antioxidants and hyaluronic acid, customized to address your specific skincare issues.
All of this only takes about half an hour! If you have a busy schedule (and let’s face it, if you’re getting married, you have a VERY busy schedule), the short treatment time makes it far easier to come into our Medical Spa for the HydraFacial MD.
The HydraFacial is incredibly gentle, but the exfoliation and peel may give some redness of the skin immediately after treatment. You want to be sure to have your HydraFacial a minimum of two days before the date of your wedding, to give your skin time to completely refresh so you will have your best results just in time for the photos!
