At Azul Medical Spa, familiar faces come in all the time, looking for the latest in skincare procedures. 1) Effective Exfoliation

The special vortex tip along with our specialized serums is almost magical. The negative pressure portion of the tip lifts the cells ever so slightly. This happens at the same time the infusion portion of the tip is pushing serums deep into the skin to loosen old cells and free up cellular debris. The vortex is pulling away the liquid serum combined with the old cellular matter – leaving fresh young cells on the surface.
Because this is not a manual exfoliation, cells are not rubbed or scraped away, they are gently separated and lifted using mild suction and specially formulated liquid serums. It’s one of the reasons a HydraFacial leaves almost no sign of sign manipulation, often just a mild pink reflective of blood flow to the young newer cells.

The HydraFacialMD is more about therapy and isn’t the kind of facial where you lie peacefully with cucumbers on your eyes and a mask on your face. It’s a 20 to 30 minute, highly effective treatment that you can do over lunch or before dinner. We aren’t going to lie, many of our cosmetic procedures can have some sort of recovery time associated with them, especially the surgical ones. But that isn’t the case with the HydraFacialMD.
