4 Sisters, 1 Choice…Dr. Flaharty!

With more than 20,000 facial procedures under his belt, there aren’t too many firsts for Dr. Flaharty anymore. But, just recently there was an amazing first – the first time four sisters all came in for facelifts together!
Let’s meet the sisters: Colette, Terry, Sharon and Connie are from a tight-knit family of seven children raised in central Illinois. As a way for them to stay close, the four sisters get together at least once a year for a sisters’ vacation trip. And recently, each had been thinking about “having something done”. Whether it was wanting to smooth away fine lines and wrinkles, restore brightness to a tired face, tighten aging and sagging skin or simply feel good in their own skin, these sisters knew it was now or never. They’ve already been through so much together, so why not experience this process together as well?
Sharon was really the one to get things started by finding a local plastic surgeon. She remembered a conversation with a friend a few years ago who had been seated next to a plastic surgeon – Dr. Flaharty – on an airplane. Her friend was so impressed with Dr. Flaharty that she convinced Sharon that he should be the first person that she called if she ever wanted to get something done – and that’s exactly what she did.
Once Terry knew that Sharon had a consultation booked with Dr. Flaharty, she wanted one too. So, Terry flew down and both sisters were able to get back-to-back appointments. Shortly after, both sisters were ready for surgery! After seeing pictures and hearing that the recovery process was completely manageable, Colette was the next sister to fly to Florida for a facelift from Dr. Flaharty. One month later, she was sharing her own post-operation pictures with her sisters!
Connie was the last to make her decision as she and her husband were still discussing his concerns over the procedure. Knowing that Dr. Flaharty uses IV sedation and hearing how well her sisters felt post-operatively allayed his concerns. Finally, Connie scheduled her consultation and surgical procedure. Knowing her husband’s original concerns, she was relieved when his reaction was, “Holy smokes! Maybe I should get that done too!”
Each of the sisters seems to have a personal perspective on their new look. But, to a person, most importantly, each woman feels better: happier, more energetic, younger, perkier, and attractive again. How can that be anything other than wonderful?
