Dr. Flaharty is a board certified ophthalmologist who specializes solely in facial cosmetic surgery. After his residency, Dr. Flaharty completed a two-year fellowship in ophthalmic and facial plastic surgery that included a high volume of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery on the soft tissues and bony structures of the face. After several years of private practice, Dr Flaharty completed a second two-year fellowship in facial cosmetic surgery. This second fellowship, accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons, allowed him to further develop and refine his skills in the technical discipline of facial cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Flaharty has been in private practice as a facial cosmetic specialist for more than 14 years here in southwest Florida and has performed over 20,000 facial plastic and cosmetic procedures. His thorough training combined with extensive surgical experience make him uniquely qualified as a facial cosmetic surgeon.
